If you updated the address then you can switch the iPad to this email. Open Settings, select iCloud, then tap Delete Account at the bottom. Ensure to tap and 'Keep on Device' notices. Not sign in with you new email address and password. Tap 'Merge' when asked and it will transfer all details to the new account.
